SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES
If you want to help support our ministry work, now is the best time to do so, since we are in the last of the last days before Jesus returns. Because of the support given to us from generous brethren around the world, we’ve seen multitudes of souls saved, restored, recovered, encouraged and healed in the name of Jesus. Going forward, we believe our ministry’s best days are all ahead of us, so if you want to help us reach the lost, teach the Christians and train the ministers, here’s how you can help:
1. Prayer. No matter how much money is given to help us obey God, prayer will always be the foundation our ministry is built upon. By experience, we know prayer support is the most important thing we can have to ensure ministry success, and we’re grateful for any prayer support you can offer up to God on our behalf. Even if you’re unable to give financially to help us, you can always lift us up to the Lord in prayer. In Philippians 1:19, the great apostle Paul took time to let the Philippian saints know how important their prayers were in helping him be strong and stay strong for the Lord in ministry, no matter how many roadblocks the devil put in his way. In our MKMI Compound in Ozamiz City, we have continuous chain prayer going on at all hours of the day and night, because we know how powerful those prayers are before the Lord. As Paul encouraged the saints in 1 Thessalonians 5:25 and 2 Thessalonians 3:1, to pray for him, we do the same now. Brethren, PRAY FOR US!
2. Monthly Support. Financially, our number one need is more monthly supporters and ministry partners. Please pray about helping us with regular, monthly support, in whatever amounts the Lord indicates. In Mark 14:8, Jesus commended the woman with the alabaster flask, because she did what she could do. That’s all God is asking of any of us – to do what we can do! If the Lord speaks to you about supporting us, there are a variety of ways you can contribute. For the saints who have a desire to help but their funds are limited, we suggest the DOLLAR-A-DAY approach. Setting aside just one dollar a day per month, would really help us make our monthly operating budget worldwide, and enable Apostle Mike and Reverend Ethel to spend more time in the Philippines for ministry, and less time in the USA for fund-raising. One dollar per day may not seem like much by itself, but when many get involved and do what they can do, the collective amounts of support really makes a tremendous difference for MKMI.

3. Project Support. Our MKMI Compound has five buildings inside, and many need repair and expansion due to the growth of our ministry. In 2013, our 4-story dormitory was finished. In 2019, our former 1-story Staff Office was demolished and replaced with our new 3-story Administration Building. All of our projects are paid for in cash – no money is borrowed to complete anything the Lord instructs us to buy or build. At present, we’re gathering funds to start our next major construction project, the repair and expansion of our 2-story guest house. In addition, we have vehicles to purchase to expand our outreach capabilities, and there are always new churches to build, or existing churches to fix, repair, expand or finish.
Our monthly e-newsletter called COLD WATER will provide you with details about all the current construction or purchasing projects underway in the Philippines, and all the various ways in which support can be sent. If you’re not yet a subscriber to the MKMI COLD WATER e-newsletter, follow the instructions provided throughout this website to enter your email address to obtain updates, progress reports, prayer requests and contribution options you can use to help us. You can also click the DONATE button here to give your best gift today for any project you wish to help support.
If you wish to support a particular project, simply indicate that when giving your best gift, and those funds will be earmarked for that project only. Call or email our Tucson office for additional information, or to ask any questions you may have.
4. Summer Mission Tours. This is one of our ministry highlights each year, as thousands of Filipinos receive Jesus as Lord, Savior and Healer during these Mission Tours. Tour Group members work alongside Apostle Mike and Reverend Ethel, with our staff and Bible school students, to present the simple message of the gospel to the lost. You can be a part of this!
Go to the MINISTRIES TAB and click on SUMMER MISSION TOURS to review our current Tour Poster, our General Information Packet and the Philippine Missions Tour Response Form for more details, dates and contact information. The Poster, Info Packet and Response Form can all be downloaded for promotional purposes, or for printing and sharing the information needed to prepare and sign up to go.
Our monthly e-newsletter called COLD WATER provides up-to-date information and details about the next group of Summer Mission Tours. If you’re not yet a subscriber to the MKMI COLD WATER e-newsletter, follow the instructions provided throughout this website to enter your email address to stay informed about the Tour you’re planning to join. You can also click the DONATE button here to give funds towards any of the three installment payments needed to secure your place on the Tour of your choice.
Simply indicate which Tour your funds are being applied to, and those funds will be earmarked accordingly. Call or email our Tucson office for additional information, or to ask any questions you may have.
5. International Airfare Assistance. The cost of travel to and from the Philippines has increased exponentially over the past few years. Pray about helping Apostle Mike and Reverend Ethel by becoming one of our travel sponsors, providing airfare assistance which will free us up to devote our operating funds to actual ministry projects or outreach events in the Philippines. If you can help us in this area, click the DONATE button, and in the drop down list of giving options, select AIRFARE ASSISTANCE to give designated support for this need. Call or email our Tucson office for additional information, or to ask any questions you may have.
